It’s one of those classic films that some love to hate, and others, love to love. I stand among those lovers, it’s one of those films that every generation can relate too (anyone remember clueless?) I mean (no pun intended.) it’s seems a billion times better if you are or have been in one of those bitchy high school cliques. And if you haven’t seen this film, please, please, climb out from under the rock you have been under and watch this! So, girls (and guys) you will love this!
Spring is here, the sun is shining (Most of the time.) And with that come’s the new season, two things you can’t do without? Pastels and 80′s style (Preferably not together though.) So I prepared a little something on what you should wear, think of me as your personal stylist, everything here can be purchased from Hennes & Mauritz (H&M.) But if your going to buy hurry up before it’s all gone! I love these pieces, the effortless layering and pattern work of the 80′s, and the new and freshness of the pastel range. So, I hope you love what I’ve put together, there’s nothing like a good old bit of blood sweat and tears.
Hey! So I have to write an article about an interesting/exciting holiday or outing I’ve had. (I though I was done with this stuff from 8th grade!) Problem is I can’t really seem to think of any, so post your story (Nothing to personal though.) and if I choose it then it gets to make it into the article and will be re-posted onto my blog! Thanks for the help! x
Get blown away with these “Indie Couture.” Pieces.
I love indie style, but it’s a style that seems to allude me. I always struggle to find what looks good, and what doesn’t belong in a yard sale. I’m the kinda girl who wears linen tea dresses. So, I have (Attempted.) To put these pieces together, which are all from River Island. x
It’s a little known fact that friends can only stay friends for so long. Unless you are one of those rare exceptions or you are a character in a rom-com. I have found out from experience that you can only really be friends with someone for 14 years tops… You keep fighting about the same things until it breaks you up. But what do you do when you have been friends with someone for only a short time and you appear to be drifting away from each other? Was it just not meant to be? Should you just accept you have your differences and move on? My circle of friends is a fairly big one yet were all as close as if we were a group of three. But lately I’ve noticed that we have all been drifting away from each other. Not meeting up at our normal place where we get a hot chocolate in the bitter winter mornings. So should I move on? I have several groups that I could “Migrate.” To. But to be honest, I just don’t want to… A recent argument with a friend has caused another to leave, and a recent message from a friend “You do realise the group will never be the same with you+em arguing? xxx” Should I apologize? Or should we just call it even? (The idea that I prefer.) So the question is, should I just let it be the end of an era, or should I stop this from falling apart? (I know the answer sounds obvi
ous , but is it really?) Is it the end of an era? (A short one at that?)
“I’m doin’ all right I’m getting good grades, the future’s so bright I gotta wear shades.”
I love this song! (Even if I’m not getting good grades in maths!) But I think it’s a good “retro.” Sounding tune, and the “bright future.” Feeling that accompany High school, College and University. I don’t have much else to say seen as I know nothing about music, just what I like and what I love. And ladies and gentlemen I LOVE THIS SONG!
Last Tuesday I finished Suzanne Collins’s amazing novels The Hunger Games and let me tell you that (Next to Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz.) They are my favourite books! They are brilliant and I can’t wait to see the film which comes out on March 23rd! The books are set in the future after climate change has destroyed the world blah, blah, blah! And the few people of North America who have survived have colonised and been taken over by the strangely dictator-ish Capitalist government named the Captiol (Don’t know if that was intentional.) Now I’m not going to bore you with the politics of this, but they don’t actually say that they are Capitalist but due to the very lasse fare attitude everyone has (Apart from the adorable Peeta, who if you read the book you will know what I’m saying!) And the way that main charter Katniss has been forced to fend for her self (Well apart from her hunting partner the equally fit Gale!) These books are the most thought and emotion provoking thing you will ever read! But note that these are not to be read in public! Unless you don’t mind strangers bawl your eyes out in public! That’s all I’m going to say, well… apart from Just read them! What have you got to loose?
I’m sure that many of you have heard of one of fashions biggest names, Karl Lagerfeld. Karl prides on making his “masterpieces.” accessible to every women, (And man.) Why I myself am a proud owner of a Lagerfeld scarf, (Courtesy of diet coke of course.) He has worked for some of fashions biggest names, and from that become one of fashions biggest names. And only now is he launching a website where you can purchase his pieces, BUT for those of you who can’t wait for February 2012 (Guess what I want for valentines day?) There is an exclusive pre-launch on January 25 2012 at net-a-porter.com. I can’t wait!!! (Not even for the Net A Porter launch.) Because Karl is one of the few people who can get away with wearing nearly the same outfit to every event, and only change it by adding a tote bag inscribed as “Karl Who?” Yet, still be one of fashions most influential people, and do I dare say it? Maybe even as big as Coco (Or Gabrielle if you prefer.) Chanel? Who knows what this man will achieve, but I think it’s something near world domination, and I’m ok with that, just so long as he doesn’t stop doing what’s he’s brilliant at. So I will leave you with some pieces that are from my much loved high street that I really think Karl would be proud of…
